Usui Reiki Practitioner Training
Reiki Practitioner training takes you deeper into the system of Reiki.
Usui Reiki Level 2 introduces the Reiki symbols and the importance of our intentions and thoughts for healing. The Reiki Practitioner training takes you deeper into the system of Reiki. In fact, in Japanese, Reiki Level 2 is known as Okuden, which means the inner or deeper teachings.
Reiki 2 is often referred to as the practitioner level – and you will be able to set up a Reiki practice and give Reiki treatments for a fee after having completed this course – but the word practitioner does not only refer to someone who gives Reiki treatments to others. A practitioner practices Reiki. This means, they use Reiki on themselves on a daily basis, they meditate and incorporate the Reiki Principles in in their daily lives – thereby making Reiki part of who they. It is for this reason that many people never go on to become a Reiki therapist despite having complete the Reiki Practitioner course. For them, knowing the deeper teaching and being able to do distance healings on friends and family is enough.
Over the two days of this course you will receive the Reiki Level 2 attunement which introduces the Reiki symbols. You will learn, and practice to use, of each of the three Usui Reiki symbols. It’s a lot of fun, especially when we experience a distance healing session for the first time!
Course requirements: At least three months must have passed since completing Level 1 training to allow your body and mind to adjust to the higher energetic vibrations, and to gain experience in giving Reiki treatments.
Certification: Students will only be issued with Practitioner certificates once they have submitted case studies.
It is not a prerequisite that you received your Reiki Level 1 training with Usui Reiki South Africa. As long as you are trained in the Usui style of Reiki, you are welcome to attend a Reiki Level 2 course.

“The course was great! Course content was very relevant to what Reiki is all about, with practical examples, exercises, relevant discussions, group engagement and expert knowledge of the subject by Natasja. The course contents equipped us to help ourselves, and then to help facilitate healing in others.”
