Why Choose an Usui Reiki South Africa Practitioner?

Comprehensive Training

Every practitioner listed here received in-person training by John and/or Natasja King. In order to qualify as a Reiki Practitioner, students are required to submit documented case studies before being issued with certification, and have to adhere to minimum integration periods between the three levels of Reiki training. This ensures that our students are not only trained in theory, but use Reiki for their own development, and have practical experience working with real people before they start seeing clients.

Traditional Usui Reiki Lineage

Our training is rooted in the original Usui Reiki system, following the Eastern and Western styles. John and Natasja received their training in London in 2021 through the Reiki Academy London and are members of the Reiki Guild of South Africa. A Reiki lineage is important – it preserves the integrity of the practice and ensures that Reiki is taught and shared with respect for its origins. The FAQ section below explains more.

We believe, and teach our students, that Reiki should always be offered with integrity, care and respect, and always for the highest and greatest good. Our practitioners adhere to our Code of Conduct and Ethics, to communicate clearly with clients, respect boundaries and confidentiality, and to practice Reiki as a supportive and wholistic healing modality.

Natasja is a practicing Reiki Master who works with clients regularly, and our teaching is shaped by ongoing hands‑on practice. Practitioners and students remain part of our “Reiki family” as we like to call them, and receive continued guidance, mentorship, and remains part of our student community.
