The Usui Reiki Practitioner (Level 2) course covers:
- Recap of the basics learned in Reiki Level 1
- The three Reiki symbols and how to use them
- Using the symbols for self-treatment
- Using the symbols to treat others
- Distance healing technique
- Creative uses of the symbols for personal development and for treating clients
- Chakra balancing and the use of symbols
- Use of pendulums to determine chakra health
- Advanced meditation practices
- Advanced energy healing techniques
- How to give a professional Reiki treatment
- Basics of starting a Reiki practice
Course requirements: At least three months must have passed since completing Level 1 training to allow your body and mind to adjust to the higher energetic vibrations, and to gain experience in giving Reiki treatments. Please confirm the date you obtained Usui Reiki Level 1 qualification in the “Order notes” space at the bottom of check out page.
It is not a prerequisite that you received your Reiki Level 1 training with Usui Reiki South Africa. As long as you are trained in the Usui style of Reiki, you are welcome to attend our Reiki Level 2 courses.

Level 2 courses in the Garden Route take place in person over a weekend in Mossel Bay.
Level 2 courses in Pretoria are a hybrid model of three week-day evening theory lessons over Zoom, and one practical day on a Sunday at YogaSteps studio in Pretoria. On the Saturday you will receive the attunement and practice use of the pendulum, distance healing techniques and bond with the other students. We follow this format for Pretoria courses because many of our students travel from neighboring provinces like the Free State and Mpumalanga. This structure removes the need for multiple overnight stays, making it easier and more cost effective for our students.
We also offer private one-to-one courses at our home in Mossel Bay.
