About the Five Reiki Principles:
The Reiki principles can be found, chiseled out in Japanese, on the memorial stone of Mikao Usui at a graveyard of the Saihoji Temple in Tokyo. The English translations reads:
“The secret art of inviting happiness.
The spiritual medicine of all disease (of body and mind)
Just for today:
Do not anger
Do not worry
Be grateful
Work with diligence
Be kind to others and yourself
Every morning and every night, sit in the Gassho position,
Pray these words to your heart
And chant these words with your mouth
Usui Reiki treatment for the improvement of body and mind.”
